Based on Government Regulation no. 56 In 1991 Perumpel I changed the status of a PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) domiciled and headquartered in Medan. Based on Government Regulation no. 64 yrs 2001 position, duties and authority of the Minister of Finance as shareholder in the Corporation / limited company transferred to the Minister of BUMN.

Technical operational guidance in the hands of the Department of Transportation and conducted by the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.

PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) started, back in Bandung in 1959. The bank was initially set up to cater for retired military personnel and named Bank Pegawai Pensiunan Militer or BAPEMIL. PT Angkasa Pura I will built Flight Plan and Flow Management Centre (FLIPMAC) in Surabaya to cover also Bali, Makassar and Balikpapan and becomes the centre of Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) nationwide due to Surabaya is the point of intersection between domestic and international routes and Jakarta-Surabaya flight path is the world's fifth most populous and fourth most populous in the Asia Pacific region with 760 flights traffic per week. The system will monitor all the movements of planes from refuelling, baggage, and start catering to aircraft engines and given a time limit and for approaching aircraft, altitude and airspeed settings are also monitored long before the plane arrived at the airport so that aircraft avoid holding or delay. Initial phase will be installed in late 2012 and is expected to be operational in mid-2013 with investment about Rp40 billion.
